About the author: Linnie Kokott

Linnie Kokott is the author of the Theo’s Adventures series and the picture books The Breakfast Fairy and Hugo on the train.

Linnie holds a PhD in natural sciences. She grew up with her younger brother in Berlin-Schöneberg in Germany. She discovered her love for stories at an early age:  reading and writing short texts became one of her favorite things to do.

Her passion to learn and explore the world brought her to the United States during her studies. Berlin is still her home base. She started off writing scientific texts and then one day suddenly found the inspiration to write children’s stories. And she hasn’t stopped since. Her focus is on writing inspiring children’s stories that have a unique and quirky-inspiring style – in English and German language.
